the problem

Official sports streaming players are stuck in the past: they either clutter the screen with outdated tables or offer nothing but a bare video feed. To check shooting percentages, look up a player's season stats, or discuss a clutch play with other fans, viewers have to juggle multiple tabs and apps across devices. We created an in-house concept for NBA LIVE to show what a modern basketball streaming experience should look like.

the solution

We brought the live broadcast, real-time analytics, and fan community together into a single window. Over the video feed, we placed a sleek frosted-glass sidebar featuring the live score, Shot Clock, head-to-head team metrics, and a live Zone Heatmap. Navigation is tucked into clean floating pills in the top corner. With one click, viewers can pull up a player's profile card with home and away impact ratings or open a clean, messenger-style live chat with voice notes. Signature NBA blue and red tones work as subtle ambient accents within a dark UI, keeping the focus on the court.

results

Delivered a cohesive product concept across Desktop and Mobile. Live game analytics, player profiles, and fan chat are accessible in 1 click without switching tabs or leaving the stream. The modular dark UI system is designed to stay out of the way of the broadcast while remaining ready for real-time sports data API integration.
